A message from Giles (Alison’s brother)

Created by Michael 3 years ago
I wanted to reach out to those who attended Alison’s service today – in the chapel or on-line
Thank you for taking the time to be there
I read out a story of Alison’s life, but her own words, read out by Angela seemed to say so much more about who Alison had become and how she saw the world with a vision that showed a good and loving God was in everything.
I feel that the words we were able to bring together were only a summary of her life and that we were able to say how we saw Alison from the family viewpoint, but many people have their views of how Alison was to them and we weren’t able to bring enough of that into the service – but time is limited – and we ran out of what we had…maybe that is also a metaphor for Alison’s life
I’d love to see more recollections from anyone who attended the service today and who's memories might have been triggered or who have other memories of Alison that they would like to share
Here is what Giles said in the service https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ED7XSUSISuWxIgraXv4JLLi_Nz4TZhfV/view?usp=sharing
